Chocolate Shortcake Biscuit

3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp baking powder
½ Tbsp baking Soda
6 Tbsp cocoa powder
½ tsp salt
1 cup sugar
2/3 cup butter
2 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 cup buttermilk
1 cup chocolate chips

1. Combine dry ingredients and butter in food processor.
2. Process until ingredients have the consistency of coarse corn meal.
3. Pour into a large bowl.
4. Mix vanilla with buttermilk mixture.
5. Add buttermilk and chocolate chips to dry ingredients.
6. Mix with a fork until thoroughly moist and beginning to come together (it should be sticky).
7. Drop onto and un-greased cookies sheet 16 mounds 1 inch high, 2” apart.
8. Bake 8-10 minutes or until tops are set and dry.
9. Cool. Serve with fresh mixed berries and whipped cream.
